Pre-Instrumental
The pre-instrumental course is designed to promote the basic musical skills for young children between the ages of 3 to 5 years. This course is designed in a very structured, enjoyable and stimulating way and delivered in a way that is appropriate to this age group.
Class Times
This is a group class for 45 minutes once a week.
This programme is based on the Kodaly concept of music education is the practice and belief in musicianship development through singing. The voice is the primary instrument used in Kodaly training. Singing has a profound effect upon the child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual development and is the most direct way of making a musical response. Not only is this instrument free and portable, but because it is part of our bodies anything that is learned through singing is learned
